Default Do you watch the celeb poker shows?

I watch these most because they are on when I have time free. We laugh at some of the celebs trying to play.. although a few happen to really good, like Richard Belzer, he is my favorite!

I have watched a few here and there but sometimes the lack of knowledge that some of the celebs have of the game gets really annoying. I would much rather watch the pros play, at least I have half a chance of learning something from them.

I usually watch the poker shows on GSN. They have celeb games but mainly I just watch the WSOP and WPT

I happened to catch them once in a while on television and being new to the game I enjoy watching them play. But the thing I notice is that the pros play a little bit more differently.

Yes, I watched them play on television. I think they play differently than most professional players I saw in tournaments. They always go all in very early if they have good hands where in my opinion they should have taken it to the limit in order to maximize the pot.

I do watch celebrity poker, but just for the comedic purposes, I agree that they lack the knowledge and do not seem to know what they are doing, but at least it is for charity.

I do watch celebrity poker shows. I just laugh at the idea but anyway it's for charity. But at least they played for a purpose. I guess they have learned something from the show. But there are celebrities that I know could be an excellent player like Jennifer Tilly who won the World Series of Poker in June 2005.

Yes, I do watch the celebrity poker on tv because I find it entertaining. It's a good thing that celebrities are invited to play but the winnings are given to charities. At least the money will go somewhere that needs it badly. I like seeing celebrities play poker.

I have watched a couple of the celebrity poker tournaments, but for the most part, I really don't find watching poker to be that entertaining. I would rather be playing it!

To be blunt, watching poker is like watching grass grow. Only the grass has more entertainment value for the entire family.

I haven't seen the celeb events though...so maybe they're a bit more enthralling. Any coming up?
